As an apprentice at Broome Electrical, Azmen is learning to connect wires to circuits, inspect electrical systems, diagnose malfunctioning systems and assemble electronic wiring.

Through Nirrumbuk and Kimberley Employment Services, Jonathan has been able to undertake a traineeship with Sheffield Resources Limited, a mineral sands focused explorer and developer in WA.

Mark Taylor

Nirrumbuk is supporting Mark’s career aspiration of becoming a Control Room Officer in the Mining Industry by providing him with the necessary training required to fulfill the role, such as Certificate III in Civil Construction.

Keona Turner

Keona heard about Nirrumbuk through family members, and applied for the 12 month traineeship. In the short time she has been with the organisation, Keona has worked with experienced staff members to learn payroll, Excel skills, and administrative tasks.

Darrellene Xavier

Darrellene got in contact with Main Roads through her grandmothers affiliation with the organisation, who advised her of the traineeship with Nirrumbuk.  She enjoys the flexibility of her part time arrangement, which allows her to spend time with her children while working towards her personal goal of purchasing a home.
